My Story
Hey friend! I am so excited you took the time to come to this page and learn more about me! I am a super blessed wife & mom. I grew up in New Smyrna Beach, FL and met my husband in 2011 when he came to Florida for college. When he first met my dad, I wasn’t even interested in dating him but my dad pulled me aside and said “you’re going to marry that boy one day” and I laughed! In 2014, this guy convinced me to pack up everything and move to his hometown in Minnesota. In 2017, we got married in Florida (my dad made sure to say “I told you so” as he walked me down the aisle) and started our new journey as husband and wife. In September of 2018, we welcomed our sweet little girl, Stella. Shortly after that, my Scentsy journey began.
I have been using Scentsy for YEARS, but I never once thought of joining. I have always said I am not a salesperson, I'm too shy, I don't know many people, etc. But when Stella was almost 5 months old, we were struggling with nursing and I found myself tied down to a chair the majority of my days and I was losing my mind. I NEEDED something to do. I happened to glance up and see my Scentsy warmer and thought "I wonder if joining Scentsy would give me something to do while I'm here." I reached out to my friend and we talked about the role as a consultant and it made me so excited. It was never about the money for me, but the discounted products and the fun I would have!
We decided to host a party to try to earn my kit for free. My party was a total flop! I had a few people attend but not one person ordered. I could have taken that and said it wasn't worth it because nobody would order from me, but something told me to go for it anyway. So I joined and bought the full size kit. I hosted my launch party and it was a HUGE success. I was mindblown! I made the money back for my kit and then some right off the bat because I got to work right away with my launch party. The next month was even more successful and along the way I had people wanting to join Scentsy with me and now here I am as a director of a strong team & LOVING my life!
Scentsy has been so much more than I ever expected it to be. The community is something I have always yearned for. We are always there to support each other and kick each other in the butt when we need it. I have built so many friendships and not just with consultants but customers! Because of Scentsy, I have friends all around the world! I am overwhelmed with joy when I think of what Scentsy has given me and how my life has changed since I made that decision to join.
My goal on this journey is to be able to dedicate as much time as possible to my family, so eventually I would like to work from home only, but for now I am working full time as a Paralegal and "work" Scentsy when I can. I love having the flexibility! I say "work" because I'm simply doing something I love and sharing my favorite products. It truly is a blessing!
